30/10/07 - EU rules broken by France in UniBet arrests
Two EU MPs from the UK and Sweden have criticised the French for breaking EU rules over the arrest of Petter Nylander of UniBet.

A letter has been set to the EIMC Charlie McCreevy. The letter stated that the MP's were amazed that France had been allowed to use a European arrest warrenty to protect their own business interests.

CryptoLogic has just announced that they have entered a 3 year contract to supply the software for DTDPoker.com.

The club, based in Nottingham has attracted a lot of publicity recently and when it opens in April 2007 it will be the largest poker venue in Europe. They are also looking to be the first fully licensed company dedicated poker room in the UK.

After last years successful competition run by The Online Poker Tour which took winners to the Playboy Mansion is about to re-launch for 2006.

Last year, the Playboy promotion saw six lucky winners from the freeroll tournaments head to the Playboy Mansion. This year will involve 14 freerolls and 14 $1.10 buy in tournaments at a yet to be announced room that will filter players into a final tournament for a chance to visit the mansion.

Vegas Poker 247 has already agreed to sponsor 28 of these freeroll tournaments. The winner will also receive a free trip to a televised Ultimate Poker Challenge event in Las Vegas.
